AYO TANIMOWO’S lastgasp strike rescued a deserved point for the home side.
Wingate’s first chance of the game came in the 14th minute.
Some excellent work in the final third enabled the Blues’ Andronikos Georgiou to shoot from outside the box but his effort flew just over the bar.
Wingate were on the front foot again in the 35th minute and a cross from Tanimowo fell to Rhamar Garrett-Douglas whose volley was saved at point blank range by Chichester keeper Kieran Magee.
