SPALDING United edged past Biggleswade Town to leap ahead of their opponents in the Southern League Premier Central division’s relegation zone.
Despite the end result, Biggleswade got off to a fine start up against their fellow strugglers, with Badai opening the score inside the first 20 minutes. His goal was only the start of the drama, however, with Spalding soon levelling things up from the spot.
