AFC Sudbury bounced back from midweek Suffolk Derby disappointment, by beating table-topper’s Stamford AFC.
The Suds started well, as Callum Page hit his shot into the ground and over the goalkeeper to wheel away in celebration giving the home side the lead.
A minute later Joe Neal was wiped out by Thomas Jackson, the goalkeeper, and the referee pointed to the spot. Joe Neal took the penalty, saved brilliantly by Jackson.
