GRAYS Athletic and Heybridge Swifts played out an Essex derby stalemate, with defences dominant and few clear chances across 90 minutes.
Aron Gordon created Grays’ first opening for Albert Perry, while at the other end, Scott Sloots missed a great chance for Swifts. Just before the break, stand-in left back for Grays, Louie Remi produced a fine cross that Blues couldn’t finish before Luke Hirst for Grays and Nick Brown for Swifts both failed to convert openings.
