■SHEFFIELD FC’s winless start to the season continued at the Home of Football, as Bridlington held out for a win.
Club had their chances in the opening minutes, as Ted Cribley gave Benni Ndlovu two chances to score, with the on-loan striker squandering both. The Seasiders took the lead after eight minutes, as Michael Coulson threaded the ball through to Danny Earl, with the Brid striker tucking home the shot.
Town could have doubled their lead just before the break, Harvey Cribs hitting the bar, with Earl’s rebound effort going over.
