BRAINTREE Town edged out local rivals Bishop’s Stortford to book a place in the FA Cup first round proper, their first in eight years.
“It was important that we got through,” said Braintree Town manager Angelo Harrop in post-match thoughts. “There was a lot of pressure on us today to make sure that we got through to the first round and the much-needed funds as well.”
