ADAM Campbell’s late equaliser – his first goal for Hartlepool United – spared Pools’ blushes and forced a replay with Brackley Town.
The National League North Saints were just four minutes away from an upset when Campbell smashed his shot past Jonny Maxted after Mani Dieseruvwe’s shot had been blocked.
Brackley took a 33rd-minute lead with an excellent George Carline goal and deservedly earned a second crack at Pools at St James Park on Tuesday night.
