NEWTON Aycliffe enjoyed a comfortable win against Brighouse Town on Saturday afternoon.
The home side showed their dominance from the off when forward Liam Jarvie got onto the end of Ethan Wood’s cross and easily fired the ball to the left of Brighouse’s Kyle Trenerry with just four minutes on the clock.
The home side doubled their lead in the 28th minute when Dean Thexton was teed up by Jarvie in the box, allowing Thexton to smartly jink past the Brighouse defenders and fire past Trenerry.
