GOALS from Ali Al Shabeeb and Elliot Forbes fired Darlington up the table at Farsley.
Both teams struggled for rhythm early on and traded crosses and corners as goalkeeper Tom Wooster was kept busy all game and made some cracking saves to keep the scores level.
But on the stroke of half-time, Cedric Main took the ball down in the box and then found Al Shabeeb, who calmly slotted home to give the visitors the lead.
