DANIEL Hector returned to former club Leatherhead to net the only goal of the match for visitors Raynes Park Vale.
In a game of limited chances for either side Vale keeper Billy Bishop did well to block a fierce shot from Leatherhead’s Lucas Franzen-Jones after 24 minutes.
Vale restricted the Tanners to long range efforts from Alex Laing and Tom Kavanagh in a tense second half but Hector broke thedeadlock, winning possession on the corner of Leatherhead’s penalty area, moving the ball sideways before drilling a firm low shot into the corner ...
