SPENNYMOOR TOWN and Curzon Ashton had to settle for a point apiece at the end of a scrappy encounter.
The home side threatened first when Tom Allan escaped through on goal inside five minutes but his prod with the outside of his right boot was well saved by keeper Bobby Jones.
Early promise didn’t turn into domination for the home side though as the visitors defended with determination.
