DETERMINED Welling United defeated Bath City in a tight match.
Early on, the Romans looked dangerous and Elliott Frear had a low shot saved before Luke Russe failed to convert from inside the six yard box. However, it was the Wings who went ahead in the 19 minute. Jack Burchell played a long pass forward and Josh Redfearn, who looked second favourite initially, got in first and lobbed it inside the far post.
