■ PONTEFRACT suffered a narrow defeat to Dunston, despite a spirited effort to end their challenging league run.
Colls took the lead when Adam Watson capitalised on a ricochet in the box to score. Despite dominating the first half, a defensive mix-up allowed David Robinson to equalise.
Things worsened just before halftime as another error led to Tom Devitt scoring from close range.
Facing the wind after the break, Ponte fell further behind when Sado Djalo pounced to finish.
