TWO out-of-form teams came into this game desperate to get their seasons back on track after poor Christmas periods.
The Glassboys brought in three new signings to try and boost their squad, while Ives stuck with an unchanged team.
The hosts’ method proved correct, thanks to a fantastic team display topped off by three well-taken goals. The opener just after the half hour came from the Ives first shot on goal – a wicked 25-yarder from Jernade Meade that found the bottom corner.
