CAIN Noble fired league
leaders Quorn to victory
with the only goal of the game
at the Guardian Warehouse
Arena.
Noble’s second-half strike
came against the run of play
as Khalsa pressed their visitors all the way.
Both teams started on the
front foot in an entertaining
contest, but the scores remained level at half-time.
Within minutes of the
restart, both sides came agonisingly close to breaking the deadlock with efforts
crashing off the crossbar. Noble then slotted home what
turned out to be the winner
with a clinical finish.
