THREE Bridges came out on top against ten-man Ashford United, who had an uphill battle having had Barry Fuller sent off after 30 minutes.
Ashford got off to a good start when the visitors’ goalkeeper, Nathan Bryson, mistimed a clearance and the ball cannoned off Gary Lockyer and into the empty net.
The visitors were level ten minutes later. A quick free-kick caught out the home defence and Noel Leighton went through to score.
