HEANOR Town progressed into the fifth round for the first time in their history.
The United Counties League Premier Division side started the stronger of the two and took the lead after 15 minutes of play when they picked the ball in the middle of the Abbey Hulton half.
They worked it out to Ethan Wieztort, who put in a low ball towards the back post where Jack Tyson was on hand to sweep home unmarked. He was left free because Abbey defender Aidan Blaise was down injured, and the referee played on.
