Spokes chokes bid for Wood home win

A DOUBLE from Luke Spokes and goals from Tom Mehew and Caine Bradbury were enough to seal Chippenham Town’s victory.
The Bluebirds had a couple of early chances through Mehew and Spokes before Mehew gave them the lead on 15 minutes when he reacted quickest to a Nathan Ashmore save. Wood equalised straight away with an excellent goal from Jayden Richardson, who powered his way through the Chippenham defence before firing past keeper Will Henry.
On 22 minutes, the visitors restored their lead with a neat finish from Spokes.
