Super Mauro turns Gulls’ record to dust

TORQUAY UNITED’S unbeaten home record came to an end.
The Gulls threatened in the third minute when Jordan Young teed up Finley Craske for a cross that Jordan Thomas backheeled into the arms of Beavers keeper Max Merrick.
United continued to dominate as Dylan Morgan tested Merrick with a long-range effort that the Hampton keeper parried. The Beavers went close as James Roberts saw an angled strike turned behind by goalkeeper James Hamon.
