Teen Aitken strikes to end Blyth misery

BLYTH Spartans’ winless 17-game run over the last four months finally came to an end after they came from behind to edge their bottom three clash with Mickleover at Croft Park.
Blyth had the first notable chance when Dan Myers picked out JJ Hooper whose volleyed effort was stopped by Sports keeper Yusuf Mersin.
Spartans, however, failed to capitalise on their early momentum and in the 36th minute Mickleover skipper Andy Dales found himself uncontested on the right. He picked out Dylan Edwards who held off Myers and slotted past Gate...
