■VAUXHALL Motors lost ground on league leaders Widnes as they fell to a 1-0defeat against a good Trafford side.
Rio Clegg’s 14th-minute penalty was enough to win this game for the Manchester side, and it puts the Trafford forward joint top of the Golden Boot chart in the division.
Clegg stepped up, after former Trafford player Adam Rooney was harshly judged to have fouled Matt Lusakueno, and he coolly slotted the penalty past Alex Swindell.
