FOLEY FELLS WHITBY AS CABLES START TO LOOK UP

PRESCOT Cables won the battle of two sides hoping to move towards the top half of the table.
Whitby started the game strongest and wasted no time looking to get their noses in front.
A long-range effort struck the right-hand post before a second opportunity minutes later rocked the left upright, leaving the away side more than frustrated.
Not to be left out, Cables midfielder Charley Doyle slammed a shot of his own into the Whitby crossbar as the woodwork took a pounding at The Auto Safety Centre Stadium.
