THREE Bridges maintained their late push for the play-offs with a hard-fought win over local rivals East Grinstead Town.
Had it not been for the heroics of Matte Pierson in the Grinstead goal, Bridges would have won more comfortably. He twice denied Noel Leighton, before Hayden Velvick fired over.
Leighton wasn’t to be denied though and scored what proved to be the only goal of the game with a well-directed header from a corner.
