HASTINGS avenged their 9-0hammering by Hendon in November by taking three points thanks to goals by Davide Rodari and Reece Grant.
However, it was the visitors who began the match on the front foot and had the better of the early chances.
But, just nine minutes in, United won a corner that was initially cleared but then kept alive and it was fed into Rodari, who crept in at the back post to turn the ball home for the opener.
