Liddle’s return no help to Blues

WHITBY TOWN are in freefall after a third straight defeat took them into the bottom four for the first time since appointing Gary Liddle back in October. A reluctant player, Liddle picked himself in the centre of defence but an old bugbear returned as the Blues conceded from a corner, inside seven minutes. Rhys Evans was left unmarked at the far post to slot home for 1-0to the visitors.
