■ IN a thrilling match on a bitterly cold afternoon, Malvern took the lead after 25 minutes when Lewis Spurrier’s cross-goal attempt bounced over Bideford keeper Mike Searle.
The Robins quickly responded, with Jordan Ewing’s precision cross finding Billy Tucker and the equaliser just four minutes later.
Before half time, Ewing was fouled but still managed to set up Javan Wright, who slotted home for the lead.
Early in the second half, Tucker scored again, cut-ting inside from the left to make it three.
