Ebbsfleet United succumbed to the inevitable, as their relegation to National League South was confirmed after a draw against Aldershot Town – but at least they went down fighting.
Twice behind in a crazy 16-minute period midway through the first-half, the Fleet nonetheless responded three times only to be denied the win that might have earned a brief stay of execution.
Goals from Ryan Jones and Josh Barrett were cancelled out by Franklin Domi and George Moncur's efforts.
