McGREGOR’S DEBUT GOAL PUTS STAGS IN COMMAND

AFC Totton’s title hopes took major damage after defeat to Hanwell that put them nine points away from leaders Merthyr.
In an action-packed game, debutant Giovanni McGregor scored with six minutes to go to seal the win for The Geordies.
A thunderstorm greeted the start of the match, and both teams struggled to create much in difficult first-half conditions.
The best chance of the period came in the 39th minute when some good work from Ryan Cole on the right of the penalty area saw the youngster’s left-footed shot curl wide.
