FORMER Premier League midfielder Adam Clayton says he is “very excited” by the prospect of his first managerial role at Matlock Town.
Clayton – who played in the top-flight with Middlesbrough, as well as the likes of Huddersfield, Birmingham City and Leeds in the Championship – has taken temporary charge at Causeway Lane until the end of the season following the departure of Ryan Cresswell last Sunday.
