WORKINGTON took another step towards safety whilst hammering another nail into Mickleover’s relegation coffin.
The Cumbrians had to overcome two dogged opponents before bagging three important points – the hostile weather and a Derbyshire outfit who look destined for Step 4 football next term.
Mickleover did register the first shot on target but were well beaten by the finish as Mark Fell’s side eased to a league double in atrocious conditions.
