Stockton Town 3-0 Worksop Town: Anchors tame the in-form Tigers

Stockton Town overcame ten-man Worksop Town to end the Tigers’ nine-match winning run in the Northern Premier League.

Stockton Town overcame ten-man Worksop Town to end the Tigers’ nine-match winning run in the Northern Premier League.
Visiting captain Hamza Bencherif was sent off for hauling down Josh Scott as he was about to bear down on goal.
From the resulting free-kick, Stephen Thompson found the net to give Stockton the lead.
The Anchors completed the win in the second half through goals from substitutes Owen Gallacher and Michael Fowler.
