AFC TOTTON made a statement of intent at Bulpit Lane with a comfortable win against Hungerford.
Luke Bennett seized on a Hungerford defensive error after 15 minutes and his cross found Charlie Austin at the far post to power past Hungerford goalkeeper Ryan Clarke.
It was a sweet moment for Austin, playing in the town of his birth and against the club he played for 18 years ago before going on to have a fine career with the likes of Burnley, QPR, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion.
