EASTBOURNE BOROUGH maintained their title push by grinding out a victory over St Albans City.
The hosts started well and had the first sight of goal when Alfie Bendle flicked a header over.
Eastbourne, looking to keep touch with the other title chasers above them, started to carve out openings.
