ELLIOT Long bagged a brace on the road in a vital win for Billericay’s top-of-the-table dreams.
The Blues looked dangerous from the start, a corner for the visitors beating keeper Luke Mewitt before the Scholars scrambled the ball away.
Then, in the 10th minute, Frankie Merrifield rounded Mewitt on his Isthmian League debut for Bar but the striker couldn’t find the space to shoot in to the empty net.
