TELFORD’S push for automatic promotion took a hit against a determined Banbury side.
The visitors opened on the front foot, with plenty of possession in the hosts’ half.
But Banbury’s defence held firm, well marshalled by Yaw Ofusu and Tai Fleming.
Telford did breach the home defence on 33 minutes. Top scorer Matt Stenson was one-on-one with Jack Harding but the keeper got the block and the ball broke to Jimmy Armson but Harry Reilly cleared his goal-bound effort off the line.
