AFC Sudbury boosted their survival chances, while ten-man Spalding United’s play-off hopes were left hanging by a thread after this goalless draw in Suffolk.
Spalding started the better of the two sides, and nearly took the lead inside ten minutes, Samuel Cartwright saw his header cleared off the line by the head of Ryan Henshaw for Sudbury.
The closest the home side came was when a Marcel Lewis free-kick rippled the side-netting.
