KETTERING Town briefly went top of the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central Division with a 2-0win at Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday, before Bedford Town scored a late winner against Lowestoft Town.
That series of events meant that the Poppies ended the day in second, while the Blues were dragged further into the relegation battle and sit one point above the drop zone with three games to go.
