DEPLETED Stourbridge duly snapped up the points but long-distance visitors Leiston had cause to feel hard done by after having goalkeeper Will Johnson harshly sent off on the stroke of half-time.
A drab opening was suddenly brought to life when the home side snatched an unlikely lead on 25 minutes.
Dominic Lewis won possession in midfield and released Alex Jones, whose initial shot on goal was blocked before following up to square the ball for an unmarked Ethan Freemantle to smash home from close range.
