GLOUCESTER City’s play-off hopes suffered a setback as they fell to a narrow defeat away at Chertsey Town.
Despite dominating large spells of possession, the visitors couldn’t convert pressure into goals, while Chertsey capitalised on a rare moment of chaos to snatch all three points.
Gloucester pushed Chertsey onto the back foot throughout the first half but struggled to produce any telling strikes as the home defence held firm.
