ON the Friday before Easter, where the weather was anything but Good, Sholing gave their all, but Merthyr were at their best to earn a win that put them six points clear at the top, with two games left to play, all but securing the title.
Sholing started on the front foot, forcing Martyrs’ keeper Jaimie Cogman to come out early to deny Michael Folivi, who looked to cap off a flowing team move.
The travelling fans were in full voice throughout, effectively claiming the stand behind the goal as their own...
