HASTINGS waved goodbye to the Isthmian Premier after a season to forget as visitors Potters Bar confirmed their league survival.
Both teams had some of their youth players among the starting line-up. It was Hastings who made the better start but couldn’t find an opener.
It wasn’t until the 38th minute when the breakthrough came from Davide Rodari, who put United ahead with a neat finish from six yards.
