Billericay victory is just not enough

A THRILLING afternoon saw Billericay Town beat Cheshunt 4-2 but it wasn’t enough to clinch the title.
The Ambers were looking to spoil a potential promotion party and silenced the crowd within 15 minutes as a corner from the right caused confusion in the box and Tommy Davis poked in.
Elliot Long and Frankie Merrifield had had good chances for the hosts, who then went 2-0 down, Sam Donkin failing to deal with a cross from the right and Dequane Wilson-Braithwaite netted from close range.
