KIERAN WAKEFIELD’S brace ensured Alvechurch brought the curtain down on their season with victory over relegated Lowestoft Town.
The Church forward netted twice after the break to pull the hosts clear after the Trawlerboys took the lead against the run of play.
The hosts started brightly with Shay Willock proving a thorn in the visitors’ side. Joe Willis had a golden opportunity to put Church ahead on 22 minutes as he raced clear, only to be thwarted by keeper Ben Self.
