WARRINGTON Town have brought in defensive duo Scott Butler and James Melhado as preparations for their new season back at Step 3 begin.
Butler, 22, came through the ranks at Swansea City and hometown club Wrexham, and played for Wire boss Paul Carden during a loan spell at Nantwich Town.
After joining Marine permanently last summer, Butler went on to turn out for Leek Town and, latterly, Prescot Cables on loan.
Melhado, a 24-year-old full-back, played 27 games for Truro City in National League South in 2023/24 before joining Nantwich last summer.
