NEWLY-PROMOTED Quorn have snapped up Hinckley LR captain Joe Lyne following the club’s resignation from the NPL.
Other than a brief spell with Nuneaton Borough at Step 2 in the 2018-19, Lyne has spent virtually his entire career with Hinckley, making over 300 appearances and helping them to three promotions.
However, the sad demise of Leicester Road over the summer prompted Quorn boss Ryan Beswick to step in and lure Lyne to help spearhead the club’s first ever season at Step 3.
