Fed-up Morecambe fans believe it may be preferable for the club to enter administration rather than wait for under-fire owner Jason Whittingham to sell up.
The Shrimps have been up for sale since 2022, but it looked as though the saga was set to end when Whittingham’s Bond Group pledged to conclude a sale with owners-in-waiting Panjab Warriors on Monday.
However, Whittingham later said he expected to need more time on Tuesday to complete the deal.
