SALISBURY City have made a statement of intent by snapping up vastly experienced Football League goal-getter Matty Taylor.
The Whites were taken over by Kuwaiti businessman Ali Alhamad last month and will be aiming to finish much higher than their 20th-placed berth in National League South last term.
Bringing in former Bristol Rovers, Bristol City and Oxford United striker Taylor is part of that strategy. The 35-year-old has netted more than 200 goals in a career that has taken him from Non-League all the way to the Championship.
