Last season’s runners-up Tring Athletic got their bid to go one better off to a perfect start by opening with a 5-1 win at Potton United.

Last season’s runners-up Tring Athletic got their bid to go one better off to a perfect start by opening with a 5-1 win at Potton United.
Elijah Hearn’s 27th-minute goal separated the sides at half-time with a Frankie Hercules free-kick and a Max Hercules volley pretty much settling the verdict.
Harry Shepherd provided the goal of the game with three minutes to go and there was still time for Max Hercules to be brought down and convert the resultant penalty.
Cockfosters also bounced back from play-off heartache by beating Crawley Green 4-1 but...
