TWO first-half goals from Joe Gbode proved to be enough, as Gillingham finished their pre-season preparations with victory at hard-working Dartford.
The 1,037 supporters had barely got comfortable at this Kent derby when Gbode received the ball from Armani Little before driving past the defender and firing into the bottom corner on four minutes.
