With their all-vegan menu and organic pitch, eco-friendly Forest Green Rovers have already pushed the boundaries to unprecedented levels as the world’s greenest football club.
But the National League promotion chasers have now ramped up their efforts even further by unveiling the first ever vegan playing kit.
The luminous yellow and pink home and away shirts are dyed using plant-based ingredients and feature a striking leopard print design, inspired by a “barking tree frog”, according to Green industrialist chairman Dale Vince.
